I go on the ac wiki to look at all the uchi villagers and the personality type is called sisterly now? Why? I liked uchi better. I'm not calling them sisterly. I'm more used to uchi. Idk what y'all think but I don't like the change that much. When and why has this happened?

i think in the Japanese version of new leaf, they’re referred to as ‘big sister’ rather than uchi. i don’t know if that’s something that got carried over into new horizons but i still call them uchi lol

Yes, in the Japanese versions of the game they were referred to as "big sister" villagers. I believe that Uchi is actually a Japanese word so I'm not surprised that the changed it.

It is a little strange though, since we've had "uchi" villagers for seven years now and all of a sudden Nintendo is like OH IT'S NOT UCHI ANYMORE YALL BEST START CALLIN THEM SISTERLY.

In the official companion book being released, there was a preview and they called the Uchi villagers "big sister".
Here is the proof, but im not sure if its 100% official.
