Sin and Punishment

I own the Virtual Console version of this N64 import classic, which was heavily praised for being among the greatest looking games on the platform while still offering great gameplay. It was planned to be released in North America back in 2000, and it still hasn't came until late 2007 with English translation added. The controls are a bit unorthodox, especially given it was one of the few N64 games taking advantage of the different ways to hold the original trident-like N64 controller. Thankfully, it won't take a long while to get hang at it and the modern controllers makes it a lot easier to grasp the gameplay. Being an arcade-styled game at its heart, the game can be beaten in under a few hours, and even completed in less than 5 hours if you know what you're doing. Therefore, I'd say it's worth playing, especially when it's developed by Treasure, the developers behind Radiant Silvergun and Gunstar Heroes.

I heard that Star Successor is way harder than its predecessor, that even Easy Mode is challenging even for the seasoned players. Though, the multiplayer function makes it a lot easier since Player 2 cannot be harmed and can shoot at anything on screen.

I have the Virtual Console version as well. I enjoy playing it but I find it sorta difficult.
