just throwing it out there, is anyone else having a hard time finding one in the island shop?
I been there daily for the last 2 months, and I have only missed 2 days.
is there a trick I need to do or what?
has anyone else had this problem?

also if I check in the am, is there different things by the late afternoon?

It took forever before I saw one the first time. It seems to be pretty rare.

I've been playing AC since it came out and reset too many times. I've only ever seen it once. Suuuper rare! And then there's that whole 40 medal cost which is a pain in the butt...

Silver axes are one of the rare island items. I went island hopping a lot before I found them.

I've gotten all of island items except the Tropical Floor, which continues to elude me.

I've seen a hammer once, but never an axe. I've been wondering about making a thread asking to visit whoever had one on their island. Can you buy more than one or will it be "sold" after one purchase?

Just like all other island items you can buy more than one.
I've bought 3-4 silver axes the first time I saw them on the island. Haven't seen them since though.

Ive never seen the silver axe or hammer and Ive been playing probably a couple of months now as well.

When I first got the game I went to the island everyday for maybe three months and didn't see the silver axe once. Since then I go to the island occasionally, and still have yet to see one for sale. I've seen the hammer once and I had to buy a silver axe from the Re-Tail section.

With my first town, I never saw it. With my new town, I have seen it once. I visit the island pretty often looking for new wetsuit colors so I think its pretty rare.
