Signature Making Help?

Sorry if this is kinda off-topic, but I'm using Photoshop to make an animated signature. I saved one of those cutesy backgrounds to my computer, opened it on Photoshop and all the layers appear. Yet when I add text to the signature it only appears on the first layer. Also, when I upload it to imgur there is no option to change it into a gif file and it doesn't move? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Edit: Never mind, figured it out myself.

If it's anything like GIMP, each layer is its own frame and the text must be merged into each one. If the GIF works fine on your computer, it will on Imgur too.
