Kinda pointless, imo.
The first one is pretty nice, it's simple, easy on the eyes, but doesn't really do anything, like I think DF was trying to say.
The Master Chief one is kind of meh. Putting in the render makes the rest of the sig look really empty, imo.

In your original post, I like the first and last one. AKA your current sig. It has that - Apple Commercial feel to it and it's pretty flowing. I love the colors and I think you can do a lot with these "backgrounds". However, they are kinda just backgrounds. I'd love to see a tutorial sometime.
