Side Characters?

I don't have any yet as I'm still working on my villagers before I start decorating my town, but I won't be playing on them when I do make them because, like in my previous towns, they'll just be design mules.

I have two side characters, I mainly use them for storing items and paths, and for setting up houses on spots where I don't want villagers to plot. I do play with them though, since it can be fun to hear what villagers have to say about your other characters when they gossip.

I have one side character. i may use him for storage, but its fun to play as a none mayor sometimes. and its amusing how the conversations change, because my side character is male, and my mayor is female.

I have a side character to hold extra items because I'm a hoarder of sorts. Her name is Charlie which is just another nickname of mine. The game wouldn't allow me to use my full name, Katherine ._.

I have two side characters, Emerald and Griffen that I use for paths and extra storage for funiture and such. I have changed up themes and find these two extra houses come in handy for switching furniture around. They only stay out long enough to smack the money rock or to collect any furniture I leave out for them. I find the villagers talk with them differently than they do my mayor.

As soon as the mayor collected all the different bugs and fish from the island I made a 2nd player.
Player 2 went to the island to collect expensive fish and bugs each night. She got the happy tourist comment instead of the mayor.
She's named after me.
Player 3 was my deliver girl for awhile. She named after my daughter.
Both players received golden fishing rods,cans,shovels and axes.

I also made them cut down the trees so the mayor didn't get called a stump maker.
