Do you have them? Do you play with them? What/who are they based on?

Basically, just talk about your side characters!

I only have my side character Yae, but she's only really in my town so she can hold my paths and items I transferred from my old town. uwu She never comes out unless I accidentally wipe something away or if someone moves in/out.

I made a second character for storage and I'm still constantly running out of space. - -' I got to design a second house though, which was awesome. At the beginning I also used him to do more favors for the animals (thereby getting more items) but I don't really play as him anymore.

I have 3 side characters. They're mainly so I can design more houses (the houses will all fit together once I'm finished). I do play on them but I mainly use them as storage. One holds bush starts and saplings. One holds perfect apples. One holds my path designs. But I do play on them and they have their own little personality etc.

I have 2 side characters in my main town. I only have them so I can decorate more rooms and have more storage. But they're named after tv/book characters, Castiel (from Supernatural) and Daenerys (from Game of Thrones). I'm also going to add a side character named Jax (from Sons of Anarchy) to my 2nd town once Shari moves out of the spot where I want to build his house.

I've got a side character loosely based off the character Lissa from Fire Emblem Awakening. Originally I was going to make my town FE themed, but I got lazy and decided to just do my own thing.

I don't have any side characters yet, but I'm planning on having three! I want one for path and decoration qr storage, and one for run off and creating clothing! Their houses will each be themed to fit my town. When I have all my dream villagers and don't need to plot reset any more, I'll make the last one. I want her house to be by the beach, and I think I'm going to make it into a bed and breakfast!

I only have two side characters. One for is for plot resetting and the other is a pattern mule.

I would like to make a side character to hold more patterns, but don't because I know I wouldn't put as much effort into them or play with them as much. So they would just end up taking up space in my town.
If I wanted another playthrough I would rather get another copy and make a new town.

In my first town I have one extra character. I play her quite frequently and really like her.

In my second town I have two side characters. I play them, but not as much. One is an art forger. He has a studio in his basement. The other lives in a tiny house and does most of the planting/gardening.

It amuses me to have them.

Fortune's my bb doll, in the least creepy way possible. She sort of just exists for me to make her look...pretty. I also use her to be kind of a jerk to villagers every once in a while if I feel like they deserve it. That way, my mayor doesn't get any crap for being mean, and I can sort of play out some dumb revenge fantasies. I.E. : Ken was irritating me, so I used Fortune to smack him and push him around until he got REALLY mad.

Felt good, breh.

My boyfriend wants to make an Otacon for his storage and patterns and stuff. The thought makes me laugh a little.

I only have 1 that I keep, the other two I alternate when plot resetting etc. She's named Victoria which is my middle name :p

I have my Brother, Owen who likes to be a police officer. Then I have ✴Kawaii✴who is my path holder, she has a fairy like theme :3
Then there is Lucas, loosely based on the male counterpart to dawn from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. He has a sloppy house and his house is going to look uneven. I mainly play as them for a change or scenery to Mayor Hannah or to change paths.

I have one side character, Alexa :D I don't play with her much though, I just made her to hold my furniture sets and designs c:

i have 2. one is for my brother and the other was under my first name ( i primarily go by my middle name). i just use them for extra space for designs or if my brother wants to play lol

I have two side characters, but I rarely use them.

I have 2, Marcus and Maryann. Marcus is more of a nature person, always barefoot, loves gardening, pathing, and is the king of nature. Although there might already be one in Animal crossing but who cares he rules. He seems to be pink haired and wears a leaf all the time with a zipper tank and black pants. And did I mention he always goes barefoot? He always does, he loves nature duh. And when snow is on the ground he doesn't care, he just keep things cool yo! (Alright enough with the pun jokes)

Maryann, there's not much about her but she is the owner of a fine hotel in TickTock. Which is my town.

I have two pattern mules, a boy named Theodore and a girl named Red. I was watching How I Met Your Mother when I made the former, and the main character's name is Ted, so I named him Theodore. I was probably looking at something red when I made Red. I'm so creative.

Theodore looks like a goddamn mess because I just stuck whatever random clothing items he gets in the mail and such on him, so he's got this ugly sweater mom sent him for winter, and those glasses with a big nose attached on. I also bought him a moehawk cause I saw it in the store and wanted to know what it looked like.

Red is cute though. She has red hair and green eyes, with Eugene's pleather vest and some zebra print pants from Gracie.

The only thing that really matters to me is the exterior of their houses, because I can actually see them when I'm playing on my mayor. I'm going for a rustic, wooden house for Theodore, and sort of a fairy-tale themed house for Red. I am working on expanding both houses now too though, putting my Sweets series, Egg series and Pave series in Red's house because I don't want to get rid of them but I don't really like them enough to put them in my own house.

I have one called camper. He lives in a messy tent and looks like a stereotypical camper. I rarely play him unless I have to replace paths. I need to get off my ass and create a 2nd one for more pattern holding. I'm thinking of having a "guardian" character based off of a Komainu (using the lion dance mask).
