Is it possible for a villager to move out, while another villager is sick?

I have two sick villagers in two towns. Jay is almost healed and Bianca just caught it.

dang uhhh idk maybe go to the wiki... i dont know if this is true but the only sick villager that i experienced since i got my ACNL game (keep in mind mine is preowned) is Merry. I dont recall anyone asking to move during her illness but that is probably because i have ADHD and just a plain bad memory... i dont pay attention to little details lol sorry :P ask someone else :) (and i feel sorry for your Bianca she is one of my favorites in HHD :()

im about 99% sure that yes, villagers can still move out, because I think I had the same question awhile back. I would keep checking for villager pings regardless of if anyone is sick, just to be safe.

Villagers can and will still move if another villager is sick. All it does is prevent the other animals from telling you they heard *insert name here* is thinking about moving; they'll just talk about whomever is sick.

A a few days ago, Fang was the last one that asked me if he should move or not. 2 days after, Snake got sick and nobody is pinging me if they're going to move out. Also happened when I got 9 villagers and Chief got sick, but I TT'ed for a week and nobody moved out. I'm not sure about if sickness do prevent villagers from moving out, but from what I see in the earlier posts that's not exactly the case.

But that would mean that, let's say one of the villager moves the after tomorrow and another villager is sick at the same time, there is no way to stop them from moving out! The only way you're going to know is from Isabelle, when you load the game and by then it's too late :(

That is correct. The best way to look at it (for me anyway) is this:

Say a villager pinged to move right before another villager gets sick. Another villager won't be in boxes for five days, giving you four days for them to ping, since villagers are only sick for a maximum of three days.

So, even IF another villager wanted to move out right away after, you would still have one day to get them to change their mind once they ping.

But villagers will still ping you if they decide to move while someone else is sick. So assuming you still talk to everyone, the odds of them pinging in the event they want to move are very high.

...I hope that made sense.
