If you really want them to move out, I would give them medicine. Then they will be able to move out faster.
But, yes, they will eventually recover on their own!

I'd assume so xD.. normally takes me 2-3 days of giving them medicine.. they'll still send a thank you letter if you give them medicine just one time. or give you a gift to say thank you when they get better & you talk to them.
Villagers are sick for three days unless there is an event then it may be two days. They will recover on their own without medicine. Ignoring a villager is not going to move them out any faster, I know this based on my own experiences. You might be better off giving them medicine to increase your friendship level and perhaps increasing your chances of them moving out sooner.
i don't think high friendship makes a villager move out faster... but giving them medicine and helping them recover will move them out faster since a villager can't move when they're sick
They eventually recover from their cold on there own. I hardly ever give them medicine anymore haha. I'm usually busy with other things in my town so I don't have time to get stuff for their cold. You can just give them medicine one time, everyday, or never and they will still get over the cold eventually.
Kyle is all better now. Maybe it's because of the upcoming Bug-Off.
Off-topic:
I had one time that a villager DID move out after a week or so for ignoring them. But does it matter if it's a native or someone that moved in. I'm not sure.
