Sick character glitch

Someone in my town said "Oh, Hans has a wicked bad cold"

Alright, so I grabbed the medicine at my Nooklings and went down to Han's house

Lo and behold, he has clouds over him and he's shivering (cold so bad it makes a Yeti shiver)

but when I talked to him...he was just talking to me normally. Not paying any attention to his cold or the medicine in my pocket, he just talks to me like any smug does. It might be because it's Shamrock Day (I'm trying to TT villagers out) but I'm still confused...

I'm quite a fan of your villager line up :3 The only one I don't really like personally is Ribbot (Of all the robots they picked Ribbot over Sprocket?!)

It's probably because of Shamrock Day, but I don't know for sure. If you haven't already, TT a day forward, talk to him, and see what he says.

I actually did that and he wanted the medicine. It was probably because of Shamrock Day. Weird glitch though.

It miiight be because of Shamrock Day. I recall a villager Rhonda being sick and when Festivale came around she was better. If I recall correctly. No clouds, though.

There could have been no clouds because you might have gave her medicine before. (clouds will pass but the character will still shiver)

On shamrock day, I had a sickie. They first commented on my green hat, then they took the medicine and went back to sick mode. So, it does have some effect.

Well, when I saw her it was when she was in her Festivale outfit, lol. She wasn't indoors, but I know for a fact that I had not been taking proper care of her.

I'm laughing so hard at this xD

I'm just imagining seeing Rhonda having a fun time at the Festivale whilst shivering and you're thinking "I have failed her"

I remember something like this happened to me before as well, with Velma on Festivale day.
I talked to her each day after and she was wandering around perfectly normal.
I think that events completely cancel out any Villagers that were sick, also they will not reward you for giving them medicine on the previous days before the event day either.
It's like they were never sick at all.
