Many newer games in a series will often have leftover data, animations and code that's basically just copy and paste from the previous in the series. This was probably just leftover code and animations that is currently unused but can be accessed via hacking.

i think that the dancing is in the game's code which they have accessed via hacking. it makes me believe that it's possible that we will able to dance after one of the new updates.
