Should he? I think He shouldnt. At least not for this year. They havent done the actual Trial Yet and wont do it until November...

I think Micheal Vick should be suspended. He should also be treated like a criminal during the trial, not a celebrity. The crime he committed was a federal charge, and a very serious one. He didn't even freaking stop at the dog fighting. Instead he killed dogs that didn't win by means of electrocution, drowning, and hanging the dogs. That's just wrong in my opinion.

He's a criminal. He tortured and killed a bunch of dogs, just for fun. That's oathetic, and he should not be allowed to be allowed to be a role model for kids and be paid millions of dollars.

He has been accused, not found guilty.

I have mixed feelings about Vick personally. I really don't know should be done with him. What I do know is that PETA is crazy. I know dog fighting is disgusting.

I'm going to remain thinking he is innocent until seeing what evidence the Feds have instead of judging him of accusations. People out there still support Vick (I mean in Atlanta where he plays.) The Falcons are in a lose lose situation here because if they dump Vick they loose a lot of fans and guarantee a loosing season. If they keep Vick PETA would be dumping blood on the fans and half the fans would leave.

People who know Vick better than any reporter say he is the nicest guy they have ever met and that they stand by them.

Others say he is a thug because he is a thug.

I hope Vick is found innocent or exonerated and plays again in the NFL. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be for the Falcons.

Being suspended is not a question of whether he did it or not. When you're a millionaire role model for kids, you need to make choices. He has chosen to hang out in the wrong crowd, as his brother has done as well, and has always had a "gangster" image. He hasn't really been in trouble with the law, but unlike other big QBs, like Mannning or McNabb, Vick never has had the clean reputation. He made the choice to be with the wrong crowd, so suspension will be his consequence. I most certinaly would not want my kids idolising someone like Vick.

That's exactly what I think. The way things happen with the justice system should have nothing to do with his or anyone's career. They chose to break the law and they should receive the punishment.

Now I'm not sure if Vick actually did or didn't, that's up to the court.

The policy Goddel is using is for repeat offenders. This is his first. Also, his contract wasn't for being a role model. It was for being a NFL superstar. Its unfair and completely and utterly stupid to put him in the position of a role model and blame him for being a bad one. What you are saying is that he hangs out with "wrong" people and therefore must be wrong. Give me a picture of him there. Show me a video of him there. Convict him in the court of law instead of only public opinion. That is what it should take for him to get suspended. Him being a bad role model is because of the light the media shows him in. Barry Bonds is a nice guy when you meet him. Others in the media would say he is an *CEN-1.01-SORD*.

This isn't about his celebrity status at all. I haven't heard one person that said that that also says, "innocent until proven guilty."

This is kind of like we think Saddam has WMD but we haven't proven it yet. But we think it so much that he should be punished.

Well, Look at Pacman Jones. Suspended for an entire season for punching someone? If Vick is suspended Then Pacman shouldnt be.

He was a repeat offender (13 times) Not being found guilty doesn't prove your innocence. This case is different though being that it is with the Feds. Also, Godell has promised he would take each case as its own. Comparing would not come into it.

Maybe Vick should go to the bengals, Everyone on The Bengals are Criminals..
Thats just a completely idiotic and ignorant statement.
But its true everyone on the bengals has been Arrested at least once while in the Nfl.

It was his house that this happened at... that's my concrete evidence he knew what was going on. And the role he is in, he should show leadership qualities and not let that crap go on in his house.
