Once again, I am thinking of resetting, but this time, for a change. Before I joined The Bell Tree Forums, I had no intentions on picking whatever villager I desired, or in most people's case, dreamies. I used to just accept what villagers I had, what town layout I got, and everything else the game automatically gives you.

Now, that thought has returned to me. I feel I should restart, and just play the game the way it was intended to be played. Is it wrong for me to think of it this way? The thought of restarting for a fresh, simple start has been nagging me for some time.

The only thing is, there are a few villagers I have that people were very attached to. Rosie is one of those villagers; the previous owner of her really loved her. They even gave me her picture before I left. I would give her to someone else who really wants her, but lately, anyone who visits my town always gets the error screen. This is why I need some opinions on whether this is a good idea or not.

If it is nagging at you, then restart. You can always have someone hold items or a villager you want to keep, so no sense in continuing with a town you aren't completely content with. If it is an option for you, grabbing a used copy of ACNL may solve the problem. I've seen them in local game stores for around $20.

Otherwise, if you reset and regret it, you can always rebuild.

That is very true. There is a Gamestop near me, so I may decide on getting another copy if I change my mind about restarting. Thank you for your advice.

No other opinions? Alright, I'll most likely buy another Animal Crossing: NL copy as badcrumbs suggested then.

Does your local play go wrong too? If it doesn't and you know a kind friend with room in their town maybe ask them to hold her:)
