Should I wait to get all my dreamies to make paths?

I'm considering making a path for Drowsy, but I still have two more villagers that I plan on moving out and then getting new ones. My question is: Should I make my paths now and then just alter them as villagers move in and out, or should I wait until everyone is where they are supposed to be?

I tend to start placing paths for my "main" areas, like around the town hall and bridges and places like that. This is just to give me an idea of how the paths will look, and then if things look good, I will finish the paths as my perma-villagers move in.

Thanks for the advice!! Yeah, maybe I'll just start in areas I know won't change.

Mmm, depends if you plot reset. I place my paths first thing but I plot reset to make sure that the villagers are nicely lined up with the path. If you dont plot reset im sure you'd be changing things constantly trying to work around everyone

I plot reset but only very lightly, once a villager is like, pretty much not in the worst place in the world, I let them stay, I don't really care about having them lined up perfectly. Thanks for the input!!

Personally I did paths before getting all of my villagers, and continue tweaking them even though I'm still missing one of my final villagers. I like having the paths there and they're not that hard to change, and it's kind of fun to rework them as necessary. So I'd go ahead and make them, unless you're planning to get the villagers super quickly.

Depends how you are. If you want all your villagers in the exact right place then I'd say get them first but if you are prepared to tweak your paths then go for it.

Well I did them not long after starting my town, then as I got my dreamies I just fitted the paths around them. I did decide early on to have set places in my town for plots, which made things easier. Even now my dreamies are not set in stone, there's too many villagers I love and want to experience. But since I have set areas and plot reset, I dont have to alter my paths when somebody new moves in

I placed pathes in my main areas and as dreamies move in I will branch out and add the pathes connecting to their house.

I did mine in stages.

When I first made my town, I set up a path connecting the train station to my house, the town hall, and the lone bridge. Then, as dreamies moved in and pwps were built (ie. more bridges, the cafe, and so on), I connected more paths. Even though I still don't have all my dreamies, I would say that my main road is finished at this point. I plot reset and there aren't too many places where a villager could move in now without messing up the path.

I start making my path before I have my dreamies moved in however like everybody else I do it in stages for example, i'll create a path leading down from the train station and link it to important places in town such as retail and my bridge. I think it's important to put down a path before you have your dreamies because if you plot reset like me, you can be pretty clueless on where you want your dreamies to go specifically since they'll be no guidance of where exactly because you don't have any paths set up. Paths can also be an indication of how much space you have in your town, and where you can put possibly put PWPs so it's good to start laying some down.

depends on how well planned you want your paths to be. i'd say go for it if you want to, there are some things that are always going to be there (town plaza, retail, your house, campsite, cafe, police station, beach ramps etc) that you could start planning from. and it's cool if you want to redo it after a while, i usually plan out my paths a bit (put out a few patterns around where i want it) and then wait a few days to see if i like the layout of them.
and in my experience you often don't feel done with stuff, but im my opinion you shouldn't let that stop you. get started and see where it takes you :>

I'm waiting until I get all of my dreamies first. It just seems easier to handle that way and I don't want to bother with plot resetting a villager to a very specific spot
