Awhile ago, I let Lolly move out of my first town; she was one of my starters and bestie in-game, but then she didn't even send me a happy birthday letter and I'm vindictive, so I took it as a personal slight and when she asked to move, I let her go.

She's currently living in another town of mine so I can always get her back if I want, and I now have twelve more villagers to cycle before she can move back.

The question is, do you think I should? I currently have Maple and I'd have to let her go so I can complete the cycle. She was my fav villager in my City Folk town, but I also know I could (most likely) rehome her easily since she's a pretty popular villager.

if i didnt read it wrong, you transferred lolly to your second town right? so in a way, you still have her. if i were you ill just let her stay in the second town instead of going through 16 villagers cycle because that is so tedious.

I have to agree with this. Unless you plan on getting rid of your second town, or don't play it much. Keep lolly where she is.

I don't understand why people even do that cycle. It's only one villager and it'll take you months to get it back... If you're that attached to a villager, you should've paid more attention to who's moving out and if you let her move out willingly, I don't see any reason to do that cycle for a villager you don't care about that much.
