Should I try Professor Layton?

You should. The series is great.
This. Amazing series, third game actually brought me to tears. Music's pretty awesome too.

I third this. The puzzles are fun and challenging.
YES.
The puzzles are fun, some are really hard, some are really easy, but all are very enjoyable. The characters are great and it has a good storyline. I like the cut scenes as well.
Professor Layton is, in a way, kind of like Ace Attorney, the investigating part. So if you like Phoenix Wright, then this game should be good for you.
Professor Layton is one of my favourite series, I have all the games, and I do plan to get Miracle Mask.

Speaking of which, there's a Layton/Ace Attourney crossover game coming soon. I'm definitely picking that up, once I get Miracle Mask.
I know right, can't wait for that. i'm gonna buy it as well. it's gonna be cool seeing phoenix in a cut scene, I get to hear his voice more :U

Pandora's Box > Diabolical Box
I heard something that it wasn't called Pandora's Box because americans didn't know the tale of pandora's box.. Is that true? @_@
All the plot lines are really clever, and I love all of the puzzles (especially the ones where you have to move stuff because you can't lose Picarats LOL)

I'm not sure, all I know is I've heard of Pandora's Box.
Sliding puzzles are the best lol. I also like the one where there's a dog, 2 cats, and 3 chicks and u have to move them across the river, but the number of cats must outnumber the dog, etc

omg yes. at my primary school, there was basically the same game on school's network and during maths lessons, when we could play games EVERYONE played that game. But as the levels went up, it got soooo hard lol.
lol... I hate those professor layton math puzzles, because some are boring, so I just tell my sis to do it xD
Omg... that sucks DX I hate when stuff like that happens, that's why I save every 20 minutes, lol.
I just figured out that even though I didnt save the state, I can still play my file!

What?? They're getting a new Layton and we still don't have Miracle Mask? That doesn't seem right to me.
