Well I wanted to be able to mostly finish my town when the cherry blossoms start falling in April, but because of a void move in, my plans have been thwarted. I now have to get 7 villagers to move out and move 7 villagers in. That's 2 months now, if I'm lucky.. I have never time traveled but I'm now really considering it. I have always been really happy that I've never time traveled and I've waited for everything to come naturally to my town. So is it worth it to break that just to move out these villagers faster? Keep in mind I have OCD tendencies. Things have to be perfect and done in a certain way. For example, keeping a perfect streak in something, once I break it, I actually sometimes go into a state of depression and anger. And I find it hard to get back on track. So I'm worried that once I time travel, I will consider my town "tainted" and all the hard work I put into it will be void. I know it's irrational. That's just how my mind has always worked. I know it's only a game, but I feel like either way, whether I time travel to speed things up, or do it naturally and wait forever, I'll be unhappy :( I need some advice!

Have you considered trying to get the amiibo cards for the villagers you wish to move in? That might work better for you, considering what you've said

The only issue I have with that is that when you scan them in to replace a villager, they usually plot in the same place. I don't want to have to plot reset over and over just to get them to the right spot. :(
