Should I take Audie?

Hi. Uhh, well... I've spent sooo many time and tickets island hopping to find either Sherb or Erik. I skipped an inexcusable amount of cool and cute villagers. Now I stumbled across Audie and... I don't know what to do. I kinda like her, and I don't think I have any patience left to continue my search for Erik or Sherb. I need an advice, please ;-;

Edit: I ended up inviting her. Only the time can tell if I'd like her to stay. But for now... welcome home, Audie!

Same thing happened to be while I was looking for a specific villager
I settled for one that I thought was alright
I ended up loving him
He recently gave me his photo!!

I do have another villager that I settled for
Her I didn’t like as much
She asked me today is she should move out and I said I wished her the best

keep in mind that eventually they ask to move out
So if you don’t end up liking her you will get the chance to search for another villager at another time

If it’s a matter of patience and not tickets, I’d hang in there. I know the odds aren’t great, but Audie isn’t someone you for sure want. My wife went island hopping earlier and saw both Sherb and Erik, so you never know! Good luck!

you can take in audie for the day since you've mentioned that you're getting tired from island hopping. if all else fails, you can definitely try to trade her with someone who has sherb or erik. it's still better than coming home empty handed/potentially have your plot sold to someone you definitely don't want lol. i hope you'll be able to find sherb/erik later down the road though! good luck!

I was thinking about the same thing. I'm 100% sure there's people who want her more than I do, so maybe... I just don't want those hours to be spent for nothing ><

definitely! don't wear yourself out by forcing yourself to do more island hopping today if you know you're already tired! take a break. bring audie in and you can make a post in the new neighbor network to see if anyone would like to trade her for sherb/erik. if not you can always sell for some nmt to continue your search another day :')

Yeah, you're right. Now I absolutely don't understand people who can spent 200+ nmt in one go and don't lose their mind..

If she’s your tenth villager then remember to bear in mind that you can’t get her to move out unless she’s forced out by amiibo or if another villager moves out first

The same thing happened when I was looking for Tybalt. I found audie and took her on a whim, but now I love her.

Audie is great! I think if you have any interest in her at all, it's worth inviting her and seeing if you like her, as the new villagers are all harder to come by since they don't have amiibos.

FWIW, I see in your signature that you used to have Beau - I had Beau and Sherb at the same time and found them to be very similar, if that makes any difference.
