I started a new town called Red Pine a few days ago. It took me 2-3 hours of resetting to get this town. There are a lot of things a like about it, but there are some things I wish were different. Here is the map of it:

Things I wish I could change:
Should I keep this map or keep resetting in hopes of finding another map which has most of the features I like about this map but doesn't have the flaws? Do you think if I keep resetting, I'll inevitably end up with a worse map than the one I currently have in my pursuit for perfection? I don't want to spend a ton of hours map resetting, but I also don't want to invest a ton of hours in a map which I ultimately become dissatisfied with.

Things I really like:
- The river is short and there are only two ponds which means a ton of open space to work with.
- Re-Tail is in the perfect spot for me. I like having it near the train station and it is literally a stone's throw away. It also has my favorite pond of the three possible ponds.
- The large pond is in a really good location. I like it on the northern half so I can plant cedar trees around it and I like that it isn't in the middle because building bridges around a large pond in the middle is a pain.
- The town hall and plaza are in good spots. I like having the plaza not on the edge of the map because then I can plant a circle of trees around it. I like having the town hall near the train tracks so that I don't have to worry about what to do with the space behind the town hall.
- Apples are the native fruit which I like the most for this town. Peaches and cherries would be okay, but I really don't want oranges or pears.
Things I wish I could change:
- I don't like the pond in front of the train station. I could work around it, but I wish it were not there.
- I don't like the beach that much. I was hoping for a private beach and a vertical ramp leading to the dock. Instead I have a long beach with only one access point and it's a horizontal ramp which faces away from the rest of the map which is inconvenient. I was also hoping for an East facing beach since my other town has a West facing one and I'd like a different perspective.
- There is a really annoying rock where I am standing in the screenshot.
- The town hall and plaza are in good, but not perfect locations for me. I'd like the town hall one acre to the left so it's closer to the train station and everything else. I'd also like the plaza one acre to the right so it isn't right in the middle since having it in the middle makes it harder for me to run straight paths through my town.
