Should i sell my town to Tom nook? I would get 4 million bells for that.... But everything will be gone

It depends on your personal preference, ask yourself these questions; "Do I care about my villagers" and "Do I like my town layout?" Its one of those things that you have to think about. Also you can tell Rover "No" whenever he asks you what type of Town layout you want and there is so many to choose from.

Also 4 Millions bells to be sold is pretty decent as long as you can pay off your home loan and make public works projects that you want to make. It is true everything is gone but your bells will be in your ABD day by day when they added into your account.

4 million bells is a decent sum of money, but it all depends on why you’re considering selling your town in the first place. if it’s because you don’t like your town layout or name, your character’s name, where you’ve put certain permanent pwps (ex. the roost) or because of anything about your town you can’t change, i say go for it. of course, you’ll lose your villagers, all the progress you’ve made, any badges you’ve earned and any items/clothing you’ve obtained, but that can all be replaced if having a new town is something you really want.

however, if it’s because of something like you just want a save file with more bells, you can always earn more by catching rare beetles and fish on tortimer’s island and selling them at re-tail, selling stuff in general or even buying bells from other players in the re-tail trading board on here. i know people occasionally give bells away for free as well.

the choice is entirely yours, though; no one can tell you what to do with your town. you just have to ask yourself why you want to sell it, and if doing so would be worth having to start all over. good luck! :)

Look if you are 100% about resetting then my answer is absolutely yes- having those bells is going to make life so much easier when you first start your new town and will make your chances of getting burnt out from the game (especially when you are trying to build a whole new town from scratch again) much slimer.

I’ve personally done it before and it made starting a new town all the more fun as I had the ability to design something I really liked with a blank canvas and financial freedom lol (if you want to call it that). You will loose everything else though, so make sure you’re ready to never see your old town/villagers/etc ever again. Fun thing to do (sorry slight tangent) is to make sure you have updated the dream of your town. When you have your new one, you will be able to search for it and visit it if you unlock the dream suite reasonably quickly. It’s an odd but fun experience. Anyway, just go into the reset with the mindset of a fresh start and you’ll enjoy starting from scratch. Make new villager favourites, make the town look entirely different, whatever you want!

4 million bells is a pretty decent sum too.

I guess the biggest question is, are you planning on restarting the game? cause if so then I say yes, you should!
