Should I restart?

I'm honestly not sure if I want to restart or not. Another player just gave me 3.5k bells, and I have two of my dreamies. But if I restart, I'll have four open spaces for my dreamies and the six starting villagers could leave for my dreamies.
I like my town layout, but a villager house is blocking where I want to put my bridge, and it's taking a while to get rid of my paths like I want to.
People could hold on to my bells and tools, maybe. But I would have to start over on my shops as well.
What do you think? I'm leaning towards doing it.

Is there an option to get a second copy of the game? You could keep the things you like about your current town and fix them slowly, or move the villagers you like there to your new copy when you want to.

If you think you'll just grow to hate the town more, do it now, while you're not extremely far in the game. The further into the game you get, the more progress you have, so the harder it is to let it go of that town. My advice? Do it. I reset just last night. I couldn't be happier. So trust me. Do it.

I think even if I did want to get a second copy, my parent's wouldn't let me.
