Should I Reset?

Hey, y'all. I am back from a break I took because my little sister shamed me for ACNL. I know I shouldn't care what she thinks, but it's whatever now cause I finally feel well enough to play again.

However, I can't decide if I should reset or not. There are a number of reasons I want to reset. The main one being my Mayor's name and gender (I am genderfluid and feeling more masc lately). The other reason is because I dislike my map and the town name. Literally, the only reason I am thinking of keeping this town is because it has Marshal in it and I don't even like him that much.

If I do reset, I will keep the university theme and my mayor will be named Micah, regardless of gender.

Please, lemme know your thoughts.

For all the reasons you mentioned, I think you should reset. There's no point in continuing to play if you don't think your mayor represents you in the way you want especially. You could always works around an undesirable map, but a town name and mayor is there for life and it will affect how much love you have your town in the long run. Best to put your efforts on something new that makes you feel like it's truly yours and makes you happy.

So I did reset and I ended up with a great map and I got one of my dreamies as a starter villager! ��
