I did kinda recently.
PROS:
-Worth it in the end to organise your projects and paths more carefully
-If your town name was bad here's the chance to turn that all around
-Choose a better layout for your town
-Possibly getting rid of your old bad villagers and getting good ones
-Fresh starts are nice
-Maybe you found out about that the questions Rover askes you reflects on what you look like, like I did.
CONS:
-If you had Gracie's shop, my God, you're going to have to be so patient with it again.
-Possibly replacing old nice villagers with crappy ones
-Donate all fossils, fish, bugs, paintings to the museum once again
-Open all shops (most aren't too hard)
-All badges gone
-Work to get into Club Tortimer again
-Furniture is gone, big house = gone (maybe get a friend to drop your most valuable items off there and pick them up later)
