should i reset yet?

i've been using my old town as a cycle town to move all my old villagers to my new town before i reset the cycle town. only problem, Merengue will not move. it has been 6 days now with no luck of her moving, and i really want to reset, but last time i went to reset, i broke down, because my Merengue was still there. what do i do?

it's going to be an all cat town, so i don't know if that would be the best idea, and i was planning on buying her, but i would miss my own Merengue. (thank you so much for replying though!)

Wait for Merengue to ping you so you can move her into your other town. You might as well take advantage of the fact that you have her. Good luck with your all cat town I just have this one comment:

Why don't you want Kid Cat? He's better than Stinky. I know everyone has their own opinion, but I'm going to do everything in my power to shame you into getting Kid Cat. Kid Cat is a superhero. Stinky is a super zero. People will make fun of you for having underwear head in your town. Having an all cat town without Kid Cat is sacrilegious and the cat gods will be angry at you. If you really want Stinky though, I'll just go and cry in a corner ;-; (not really, it isn't my town after all)

im resetting without my Merengue, she's too stubborn, ill miss her, but i think it was meant to be. also, underwear cat vs. superhero cat.... (i was going to get kid cat, but i knew i would try to get all 4 of the superheros, and stinky is bae.)

ill wait a little longer before resetting, though, to try a little longer, i want her back very badly.
(also, one lst note, red cat, my sister has rudy, and a friend has Kid cat, and i Adore Stinky, so thats why i'm getting stinky.)

I have a story that might make you feel better...

One of my villagers had just become my best friend! I was ready to move them to a new town, they had said they wanted to move. I was so excited I had the whole new town planned for them! But they pinged me, and I accidentally talked to them & we ended up in a fight. They refused to move! Grudgingly, I had to reset.

Sometimes the animals are stubborn because they are trying to tell us we have had good times & it's time to move on.
Just like in real life, even if a friend moves away, they are still your friend. <3

this is the best thing i heard all day!(sorry, that sounded rude, i meant pushing thing.)
but someone is selling me merengue, as soon as im ready, so i will see her again soon, but my Merengue, will be forever lost.
