Should I reset my town?

Should I reset my town? The reason I want to reset is because I want a fresh start, and now I'm starting to hate my town & mayor name. I do have a second copy but I don't want to use that as a second town. Here are the pros & cons.

The Pros:
~ I could experience new villagers
~ Fresh start
~ New town layout

The Cons:
- Lose all my dreamies
- Have to donate tons of stuff for my cafe again
- Lose T&T Emporium
- My town has lasted a month (which has never happened with any of my other towns)
- Have to upgrade my house all the way

So, should I reset my town? Oh yeah, my town and mayor names are Faith of Camellia, I chose Faith because I thought it was a heavenly name :)

You can get someone to hold bells and items for you so that you don't lose your unorderables and can pay for PWPs more quickly. If you exchange your TBT for IGB, you can also make some more bells that way.

Resetting will be a bit of work, but it's probably easier to start from scratch if you have that head start of having items and bells. If you're really sick of your town and it's making you enjoy your game less, resetting is probably a good idea. You should decide what's more fun of you. You've mentioned that a pro of resetting is that you'll get to experience new villagers, but would you still want your dreamies?

If you don't want to reset, you can always just change up your town and try to make the most of it. Just make sure that resetting is what you really want to do, because it's easier to put up with a boring town for a while longer and decide to reset after all, than it is to get your old town back if you reset.

I've decided not to reset. Goldie recently requested the fairy tale clock OMG I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN SHE DID

So I'm trying to unlock PWPs and put down cute bordered paths, the path takes up 9 spaces, but it's worth it!! I have one space available for a town flag, or qr code hat or something :) Thanks!

And something that would be fun would be to have new dreamies, I'll try not to have very popular ones *cough*MARSHAL*cough*, but like less popular ones that are still cuties!

You can make more residents and they will have another 10 spots for QR Codes! :) (If you don't mind more houses)

If such little things influence you in resetting your town, that means you like your town too much to let go of and you just need some little things to make you love your town again. It seems like you have big plans for it already, so good luck on doing them!
And remember, you can still experience new villagers in your current town. Don't be afraid to let go of someone, it's an opportunity to meet a new villager. Have a look at the villager list to see what villagers you like and give them a try, there are tons of awesome villagers that aren't popular at all. :) Good luck!

haha im glad u didnt reset i guess
usually i do it on impulse if i even think for a second "oh man maybe a fresh start would be nice this is getting kinda stale" i reset immediately and regret it later but ultimately end up with a town better than the last. i reset just two days ago and things are going super duper well!

if u reset i recommend getting the island, making money with bugs, and using ALL of the money to buy turnips.
keep an eye out for spikes on here and on tumblr, and sell them.
i bought turnips for 92 bells and then sold them for 513 bells.

I am trying to find a villager list with pictures but I can't. There's one on Nookipedia but it's a table, and the pictures are really small.

There was one that had pictures, their birthday and quote but I guess they took it down and replaced it with the table :(

I reseted last month as I hated the location of cafe and camping site . I asked people in forum to help me hold my items and bells to avoid loss. :p

I don't like where I placed my campsite, but I'm trying to make it work by putting lots of cedar trees around it :)

Good :) I also think cedar trees look great around the camping site, like somewhere u can see a wildbear !

I agree, cedars look very good around the campsite! I also recommend a firepit and log bench, along with some tree stumps. For decoration you could use some clovers and mushrooms.

Let me show you guys my map, so I can show you my campsite placement :)

I have a feeling that placing that bridge a little up would solve some of the problems, pathing to the cafe would become easier and you can path to the campsite down along the river. It certainly isn't the worst position though, and in a way it's also cute how it's along the river yet close to the beach.
