Should I replace these villagers?

I honestly grew tired of Merengue.. She's cute and all and she's first tier now, which makes me happy!

However, I want Maple, who is also a Normal, or Molly.

Merengue was given to me for free by someone really really nice and I don't think I should sell her but I want to try something new.. So should I?

I don't know if I'd sell her, but maybe a trade.

Honestly, if you can get into contact with that person and ask their opinion, that'd be best.

You could raffle her off, and then buy/receive Molly separately. You definitely shouldn't sell her imo, if you got her for free.

Thanks for the advice, guys! Sent a VM to the kind person who gave me Merengue <3 also, now i can't decide if i want molly or maple but i'm leaning towards maple even more because i met her in a dream town and she's really cute.

I wouldn't ever sell any villagers. I find that dirty. Though, I would let her go and let someone adopt her so you can get Maple. I honestly like Maple a lot more than Merengue.

Maple and Molly are both super cute!! If you want a change, I think you should go for it.
However I really don't think you should sell Merengue if you got her for free... I'd probably just pay it forward and give her away for free too.
