This decision is hard I've got all my dreamies got a nice house but I'm finding it really boring...

So what do you think?

My layout is fine and its only a month old.

I can't find any fun things to do.

If you aren't getting much joy out of playing the game, then it might be time for a break. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to stop playing forever, but take a break. Play other games for a few weeks. Don't force yourself to do something that is now boring to you. There's plenty of other wonderful fun things to enjoy in life, have fun with them for awhile. The game will still be there once you feel like playing it again.

It's up to you. If you're bored with your town you could always reset. I don't know if you TT, but if you did TT in you current town you could try not to TT in your new town. When you play the game day by day it is more fun in my opinion.

If you've already played without time traveling and you're just bored with the game, you could always leave it for a bit. You might find that you miss it and want to return.

I would definitely give it a break for a bit and then see how you feel after that. Perhaps you just need a fresh start in a new town?

I just don't know how a fresh start is going to help considering she's only played for about a month.

If you make that decision, I suggest writing down the town's date on which you last played. If you return to play "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," use that last game date. You will be able to keep all your villagers intact.

Another option: Take your break on a date in which a villager pings you for a move. Note it as you also write down that particular town date. By doing this, you should be able to resume playing on a date in which the town's date also moved along with time. (I had one of my towns on August 13. That was a day in which one of my villagers pinged for a move. I just returned to playing the town yesterday, on August 31, and no villager left.)

We should all quit, but its very hard. Some days i get bored of the game, but i feel like i can't abandon my villagers. I've been playing ac for years now....

That happened to me too, I had to take a little break and it renewed my interest. Do what Candy83 said in case break is long, that way you won't lose your villagers.

Since your town is still new, maybe you can just reset? Maybe you just dont like layout. It's worth a try ^^

Taking a break might be good, but you have only been playing a month. Maybe you just need a goal or something to do . Heres some things you can do.

Fix up your town, or redecorate.
Decorate your house, or start up a new character and decorate their house.
Complete your museum, or try to get all the badges.
Breed some hybrids.
Go to the Island and try to get a ton of medals.
Complete your catalog.
Visit some fun or creepy dream towns.
Make some patterns and wear them or have them refurbished on furniture.
Get all the emotes from Dr. Shrunk.
Time travel and play on all the special days or Holidays. The fishing and bug tournaments can be fun.Theres Bunny Day, Toy day, Halloween, etc.

This isn't an online game per se so... , you cant just quit it lol, you are done with it, like when done with any other game, put it somewhere until you feel like playing it again :p

Try the badges or working on getting Gracie unlocked.
Or stop a mover and than take a break. Make sure to add beautiful and wait a day for it to take effect. Than stop your mover.
Feel like playing than go back to the last date you played. You can stay on that same date forever without having to worry about a mover.

Sometimes when New Leaf starts feeling like a chore I usually take a break from it for weeks or even months but get back into it later

I just got back from a break for almost the same reason.
I say take break for as long as you need, just make sure you have the beautiful town ordinance and take note of the day you last played. that way whenever you decide to return you can start right where you left off.

Or there's always resetting, starting fresh with a new town and not using these forums to get any sets/villagers. Just playing the game naturally for awhile.
