Should I order Mira a crown for her birthday?

Title says it all. She was my bestie in New Leaf and I was overjoyed to have her as my starter in New Horizons! Her birthday is on the 6th and I'm genuinely considering shelling out a million bells for my ride or die homegirl. I'm on the fence though, as I'm uncertain as to whether or not she'll even like it and that's a LOT of bells to waste if she never wears it.

Has anybody else given a villager a crown and if so, do you consider it worth it? Do you get any kind of bonus in friendship points? Advice is appreciated!

mira’s favourite colours are red and yellow and her preferred styles are active and cool. a royal crown might work as they’re her favourite colours (or at least, it has some red to it lmao) but it’s a pretty expensive gift that i’m not entirely sure she would like ;u;

I gave a Royal Crown to Elvis because he’s the king and deserves the best, but he only wore it once and then displayed it in his house (replacing one of his Aquarius Urns which is annoying). I’ll eventually TT forward to get the Celeste DIYs I’m missing so I can craft him another urn. After that he’ll hopefully start wearing the crown again.

Honestly it’s probably not worth the investment, but I don’t care because Elvis looks super cute while wearing it. I suggest at least having Mira try it on at Harv’s Island to see if you like how it looks. Also idk which styles the crown falls under, so maybe Mira wouldn’t like it?

It depends on how many bells you have. If you are at a point where you make a million bells (or more) in a week, then go ahead--it's not going to derail your AC life in any noticeable way. If it's half your savings, maybe pick something cheaper.

She might or might not wear it, but if it makes you feel better then go for it. However, villagers will wear their favorite colors more, which is what @xara said.

If you got the money to spare and you're willing to replace any 1x1 furniture item she might replace with it in her house, I say put a crown on your queen!

I've thought about whether I should get Rodney a crown myself, but his preferences wouldn't be in my favor and his house easily gets ruined because most of it is 1x1 items lol. But once you get it out from being displayed in their house, then it'll go into their wardrobe and they might wear it eventually. Since it may match at least her color prefs, you may have a chance at seeing it on her. If that works it'll be worth it imo.

My plan was to give golden rose crowns to all my permanent villagers. They wore it immediately and then never wore it again. It just sits in their house. : ( So... depends on how much you want it to be in her house ;a;
