I haven't been catching up with my main town, but after spam-talking the s*** out of Octavian, he told me that Coco was thinking of moving. I'm trying to cycle Chrissy back, and at this point, any villager that is not a Dreamie would do.
But I think that I have come to love Coco as a Dreamie (yeah I don't find her face scary at all). Technically, she was my Normal villager Dreamie at first, but I decided to choose Merengue instead.

This is my current villager lineup. Bold symbolises Dreamies, while italics are villagers that I use to help me with the cycle
Marshal
Zucker
Francine
Merengue
Octavian
Tammy
Genji

Coco
Willow
Sprinkle

Willow and Sprinkle have not pinged me yet, and I have not tried any specific method of making villagers ping, other than the game making one of them wanting to leave in ~3-4 day periods.
Oh and...any good TT'ing/villager moving out methods?
- TT one year and five days back
- TT one year ahead
- TT five days ahead and a villager will be in boxes and a new one is there *maybe I should do this method, but not go five days ahead? I'll experiment with my cycling town tomorrow
If I know that a villager is moving, but I can't pinpoint exactly who, I do this...
- Go to the 3DS Settings and change the date to one year ahead
- Load NL and go onto New Save File
- Look at the map and see who is gone
- Change date back and load up NL
- Go in front of that villager's face and make them stay/leave
She's leaving in 5 days, so I have plenty of time to decide. Please help me with my decision! ^^

Awe!!! Well if you do decide to let her go, I'd be more than happy to take her off your hands to be my blind witch in my 2nd main town of storybrk!!! I, too, am doing the cycle to get static back in main 1. I moved my sweet filbert out with him (into my cycle/holding town) so I'd have 2 slots to cycle with. I hate cycling in main. It's kinda scary. Lol!

Oh, and since I'm doing the cycle too in my main 1, the method I use is 1 day fwd, talk to everyone, save, one more day fwd, talk to everyone again, save, 2 days back, walk around for a ping. It's worked pretty well for me. Best of luck!!!

I'll just wait for more replies and I will make my final decision ;^;
If I end up making Coco leave, I'll be more than happy to give her to you <3
Btw, how's your Once Upon a Time/Storybrooke town coming along? :3

Keep Coco! You already have her and like her, and Merengue is at the top of tier one, meaning that she's not easy to get. I find Coco cuter than Merengue anyway, I've had both in past towns.

I grew to like Coco too, so I would be keeping her :)

In your cycling town method, when you jump one year ahead, someone *will* be "thinking of moving" on that date. If I want to keep some villagers, I walk around, talk to everyone so they get past that "you've been gone a long time" dialog, save and reload, and look for a pinger. If no-one pings, I talk to everyone again, save and reload, and look again. If still no-one pings (they won't ping if they have a flea, or are fishing, or it's a special event day etc), then I do your other method of "peeking ahead" to see who moves, and get them to stay if it's a dreamie.

Once I have asked someone to stay (as opposed to moving out) then I do the big jump forward again. You don't want to go back, then forward, when you have asked someone to stay, because there would be a small chance someone will be "thinking of moving" on the day you load when you went back, then they would be moved out when you jump forward.

If you don't want to be jumping years, then 1 month suffices to have someone else "thinking of moving".

Give it all a try in your cycling town and you will see how well it works :) Takes just a few minutes to find the next mover, and I never lose anyone I want to keep.

If there's someone else you'd rather have than Coco, then you should have her move. If not, I'd recommend keeping er if you've started to come closer to her. Plus, you might regret it later.

A really good Cycling method I use is going two days forward, 2 days backwards. After TT 2 days forward, walk around to see if anyone pings you to move. If not, save and quit after you've done your routine, and TT 2 days back. Then just repeat.

I have Merengue in my town but Coco is a lot cuter ;u; I think you should keep her.

As for cycling, when I was trying to get Mira out for a friend I was using this guide and it worked really well, I was cycling through move out requests about every 5 minutes.

Storybrk is going well! As soon as I plot Derwin (he's my wizard in the oz portion) I'll pm you, and you can come see it so far. I've got everything set up, but still have 2 more villager to move in and plot, and then I'll start working on the rest of my paths and houses. It's got a storybrk portion, an oz, a wonderland, a Neverland and an enchanted forest! The only paths I've done so far are the yellow brick road and the wonderland paths.

If you want to get Merengue that's fine. Plenty of people have her cause she's popular, so go visit her in a DA and maybe that will help you make up your mind. It's up to you. My sister has Coco and loves her to death. I've had her before and she's alright. I like so many other normal villagers better though. (Caroline, Maple, Lolly, Poppy, Goldie, etc). It's up to you, if you can get Merengue easily I'd say go for it if you like her a lot.

I've decided to keep Coco in my town ❤
I guess I'll use some cycling/TT'ing methods to try and get Willow and Sprinkle out.
Once I hop onto my 3DS, I'll make her stay~

I also used this method when I needed to get other villagers out of my main town, but I was always feeling paranoid when I couldn't find who was moving o-o
That happened when I was trying to move Rosie out. Turns out that I TT'ed during the week of Festivale so no one would move XD
