Should I level my island, or delete it and start a new island?

Bells

I've been debating this with myself for months now. I don't have a lot of bells which makes moving buildings take so much longer and I'm not happy with my town's construction I've been doing so far. Problem is, I do have an attachment to the villagers in my town. Also, the critterpedia and museum are things that I wish could keep but honestly, I don't know if I'll feel better with leveling my town in the end, or starting over.

Sorry, I just saw the reset mega thread, if a mod wants to delete my thread, please do it. I have no idea how to.

I don't think could restart because of all the work I've put into the game so far. I have so many recipes ( still missing a few ). My catalogs almost comp!ete, and I have a lot of nook miles stamps. My bug and fish collection are almost comp!eted. I decided a while back that I could completely redo my town if I got bored of playing.

I suggest leveling and redecorating your town. It will give you something to do, and maybe keep you interested in the game without losing your villagers and the progress you've made so far.

I wouldn't restart. You'd practically have the same issues; lack of money, etc. The negatives are much higher than any positive, if any at all.

Don't hesitate to 'buy' Bells from other users here with the forum currency (TBT) to give yourself a helping hand. I recently levelled my island, though I had the Bells, just not the time so I decided to time travel to speed up the process even though I'm not a fan of time travelling.

I just decided that the positives were better than the negatives being my own time saved (and sanity). Time travel in niche circumstances is fairly OK with me. It beats restarting, at least.
