Let me preface this by saying that I do really like Tangy. She's, in my opinion, the best peppy villager. I wanted to have at least one of each villager type, mainly so I could get pwp suggestions, and I need a peppy villager for the illuminated tree and illuminated clock.

My problem is that I forgot to plot reset her house. I have no idea how I managed it, considering I'd spent a good chunk of the previous day meticulously placing Genji into a nice spot. Her house is now pretty close to mine and it irritates me that it's not aligned like all of my other villager's houses. Her citrus aesthetic also doesn't really fit into my sci-fi/modern town, but that's not a huge deal. I initially picked her because she looks nice.

I don't know whether to keep her until I get the suggestions I need and then let her go, let her go now and get a different peppy (I'm thinking maybe Bianca), let her go and cycle 16 villagers so I can get her back, or just suck it up.

I'll edit this post later and add a decent screenshot of my map (I'm currently plot-resetting Coco's house so I can't take one right now). I'm posting this to see if anyone else has been in a somewhat similar situation and/or can offer some advice. Thanks!

I love Tangy too, so I understand the struggle. It looks like you have most of your dreamies, so although cycling would be the best option overall, I don't know if it is worth the time and effort for you. I'd say if you have some good landscaping idea and you really feel like her house has to go, then let her go, because villagers are just villagers and you'll be happy with someone else, but your town is your opportunity to show off your personal tastes and if Tangy's house is getting in the way, then she needs to go.

That's precisely what I was thinking with regards to doing the 16 villager cycle. It's hard enough trying to get a particular villager to move out without having to do that 16 times :(

I think I'm going to let her go and then try and get a different peppy villager. It's going to be sad letting her go, considering I only got her about a week ago. At least it will remind me not to be so careless in the future.

Just make sure to find her a good home. Tangy is too good to be voided. :)

Oh definitely! I got her in a trade - I gave up Felicity in exchange for Tangy. I'll be giving her away for free, just so I know she'll end up in a good home.

i like tangy she is cute! dont let her move </3

Yeah, she's cute, but having her house in a weird spot is going to be like a bad itch for as long as she lives in this town. That's my dilemma. :(

If you really like her, I'd keep her until you at least get the pwps you need.

I have a problem with Merry's location, and I DID plot reset her...but I reset the houses in front of her wrong and now she's back too far. I have a row of four houses and the first three are evenly spaced (vertically), but her house is back a lot further and the gap drives me nuts. I tried to put a fountain in the middle to make it look intentional but it still looks bad. The problem is that Merry is one of my favorite villagers in that town but I really don't have it in me to cycle just to get her back in a decent spot.

If you're looking for a peppy whose house might fit your theme, may I suggest Ruby? Her house is space-themed, and she's absolutely precious.

But it doesn't matter if you like her.

To the OP: if her house placement really irritates you, I think you should let her go. Maybe someone you like even better will move in, but at least you always have the option of getting her back in the future.

Ouch, I know exactly what you mean by having an abnormal gap. I had that in my old town and it really got on my nerves - I had Fang and Roscoe though so I didn't want to let either of those two leave.

I think I'll just leave villagers to arrive/leave naturally without TT'ing just so I have as much time as possible with Tangy. If she pings to move I'll let her go. That way I'm probably going to have her for a while and there's always the chance she can ping for a suggestion!

I didn't really look into her as I already have 2 rabbits, but after a quick mooch around she has a very nice house. Thank you very much for the suggestion - as Tangy will be moving out at some point I think Ruby would be a strong replacement as opposed to Bianca. :)

Thank you, this is precisely what I was thinking.
