Should I let Judy stay??? Help needed quickly please!

Hi! Judy is currently in my campsite as the random visiting villager and I really love her BUT I'm afraid she might not get along with my other villagers. I currently have Sisterly, Peppy, Smug, Normal, Jock, and Lazy villagers. So far they all get along with each other and I would like for things to stay peaceful.

Judy is SO cute but I've read that she might not get along with Lazy or Jock types and supposedly the other types I have won't like Snooty types (like her). What do you folks think? Should I put so much trust in the wiki's that tell me these types won't get along? I mean, they said Jocks wouldn't like my lazy types either, but so far there haven't been any problems.

Specifically, so far I have Frita, Samson, Hugh, Pinky, Quillson, Chai, Etoille, and Simon. Please let me know what you think. Have you had experience with mixing so-called mismatched personality types? Experience with Judy?

I need to make a decision before she leaves and I don't like time travelling so I appreciate your help with this!!

hi !! my opinion on this is if you genuinely like her and want her on your island ,, keep her !! 9 times out of 10 ,, villagers arent arguing. but even when they are ,, its easy to deliver gifts between them for apologies and whatnot. i say go for it <3 !!

huh, weird. i have one permanent jock, one permanent snooty and four permanent lazies. (also have a second temp. snooty at the moment.) they never seem to 'not get along'. granted i almost never listen in on conversations between my villagers. everyone seems to have the "i argued with x and got them this present" thing, and they always make up once i've delivered it anyway. genuinely, i personally would not put much stock into the whole "these villager personalities don't get along" thing because not getting along is, like, completely negligible in my experience. you're probably not going to notice it. i don't, at least, although maybe that's because i don't automatically associate my villagers with their personality. (i.e. i just think, "vivian had a fight with lucky", not "my snooty, vivian, had a fight with my lazy, lucky.") also, like... even good friends just argue sometimes? so at worst you could just view it that way.

Yes, if you like her, invite her ... I had her on my island for a while and, honestly, she was boring ... But it's your choice at the end of the day [I'd much prefer Tabby or my buddy Gruff !!] ...

tbh the whole "villagers not getting along with other villagers" is a very minor (if not humorous) dialogue detail. inviting her to your town won't cause any trouble at all, it's perfectly fine.

I would say invite her cause she's really cute and precious ☺

Compatibility between personalities is a non-issue. Villagers' conversations are as wholesome as it can be. Actually bit too wholesome for my taste tbh

That's really good to hear that the personality types aren't too big a problem for them getting along. I've def been worried about it. Like I said, I like a peaceful village and don't want my little critters to be unhappy! lol

Occasional spats can actually be funny with how the villagers stomp around. But I haven’t had one in forever and my island has a snooty (Blaire). I wouldn’t worry either!
