Should i keep Julian? Who should i replace with with?

Im starting to get tired of Julian, and im not sure he suits my town anymore.. My (work in progress) town theme is kind of a fairy garden/magical forest type feel. Basically i have tons of green (fruit trees without the fruit) + pink trees, budding azaleas, mushrooms and flowers with natural dirt/clover paths. I thought Julian would suit it because hes a magical unicorn, but i think hes a bit too fairy-tale and my town is more of a natural thing. My villager list includes mostly villagers you could find in a forest; Chevre, Fauna, Whitney, Diana, Bunnie, Kiki, Fuchsia, Ruby, Julian, and Punchy. So my question is; do you think Julian actually suits my town, or should i get rid of him? Who would suit my town better? Im thinking of replacing him with maybe Felicity, or wolfgang maybe. I already have all my public works projects requested btw. Thank you!!

I'd replace Julian. I think a nice replacement would be someone like Maple, because she's got a natural look, but she also has that cute, Disney-esque face. Much like Fauna imo.

I think you should replace him. I'd pick bluebear or pinky because you said fairytaleish/forest, and they're both pretty colors and animals you'd find there. Bluebear would be my stronger option though. You could also get a wolf villager! Fang is ideal to me but I just find him the cutest c:

You prob should. I think a squirrel would be cute in a forest town, one with possibly natural colors, like Sally, Cally or Poppy. I also really like Blaire.

Wish Kit was in ACNL, he looks like Conker and he'd be hilarious lol.

Since you won't have a smug once you get rid of Julian, maybe try Henry? I know frogs aren't the most pretty or popular villagers but he's pretty natural looking to me, he's also a small villager so he might do well with your theme, since I noticed most of your villagers are either woodland creatures or small animals. Although he can't necessarily be found in woodland but in ponds but some woodland areas have ponds right? although, if you don't need a smug for the PWPs i'd say just go ahead and choose Poppy. She reminds me of a red squirrel, which I think would be so cute to have in town and good for your theme too. Good luck!

I would let him go, given your makeup of villagers and the theme you got going on. Also, I never liked how his eyes are always closed? (Weird side note, when I had a cycling town, he's the one villager that kept moving back IN. So strange.)

You don't have a cranky..or a bear.Why not a cranky bear like Grizzly?He's one of the most natural looking villagers in the game and there are a lot of bears in the forest and in fairy tales.Colton might be another villager to consider.He's kind of a toned down Julian and with real eyes!

If you want another smug, Colton is natural-ish. For a peppy, Winnie is pretty cute.

From your description, I think going with a smug or cranky would be the best choice just to balance out your personalities altogether. I think having 4 normals is a bit much. I have 4 normals and it does get really overbearing with the same dialogue but that's just me.

Smug: Henry, Marshal, or Colton

Cranky: Avery, Chief, Groucho, or Wolfgang
