Should I keep Diana or?

I'm getting kind of sick of Diana. :c Out of all my villagers, she's the one I don't pay attention to the most. She's really cute and I changed her greeting to "Hmph" for mega-snootiness, and I love seeing her around, but she's just... not my favorite.

She moved in from my campsite and I was really lucky to get her, but I really want Willow now. Trouble is I am having a hard time letting her go for several reasons:

1. I have 10/10 villagers. It will be hard to move her out specifically without risking accidentally losing my favorites.
2. She fits my (planned) theme. Well, almost. But she's way closer to fitting it than Willow, tbh. Then again, Filbert and Bruce don't even fit my theme so????
3. She is perfectly aligned with Bruce and Marshal. No, seriously, this is a big deal, because I didn't have to go through plot resetting her multiple times. I only did it once and she plopped herself right on the perfect spot.
4. I have once regretted moving her out in my previous town--what if I regret it again? ; A;
5. She might not be my favorite but she is a cutiepatootie.
6. Willow is hard to find.
7. Again, I have 10/10 villagers. If I move her out without immediately adopting Willow, I might get a streetpass or wi-fi move in and I don't want to move out anyone else.

BUT I REALLY WANT WILLOW. I would love to have Blanche too but I haven't finished cycling for her.

One of the solutions I thought of was just waiting it out until she asks to move out herself. I already have my desired roster of villagers so I stopped time-traveling (aside from ordering stuff from catalog for trades, but I only do it within the day). Maybe one day she'll ask to move out, but what if that takes forever? I'd be too sentimental to move her out by then. And after moving her out I can't find Willow or someone moves in from wi-fi tag?? Wi-Fing is part of my ACNL gameplay and I can't keep my town on lockdown for too long. I also feel like it's way too risky, and I don't know if it's worth that risk.

Should I just tough it out and maybe eventually I'll learn to love her more? Maybe I'm just in a Diana slump. Or something. I dunno. I talk too much.

And you can always ignore her for a week & 1 day. Then talk to her. She'll ask to move out, as long as there isn't any other villager hoping to move.

I love Willow, and I voted for you to get her, but looking back it might be wiser to keep Diana, unless you can get Willow right away. If you love the rest of your villagers like you said, getting someone in the void would just make you lose two awesome animals, at least if you tried to move the voider out.

I KNOW RIGHT. I am of the opinion that Willow is THE CUTEST SNOOTY (AND SHEEP) EVER. I feel Willow is worth letting Diana go even after all the reasons that keeps me from letting Diana go.

...but then again... she is so hard to find... and having space in my town makes me anxious and panicky. ; A;

This is what I'm afraid of. The last time I got a voider when I had an almost complete villager roster, I had to reset because I pretty much had to lose someone I really liked. :c In fact, trying to get the voider out made me lose a favorite villager so I don't want it to ever happen again. Especially not in this town, which I worked on a way lot more than I did my previous town. ; A;

I'm actually meaning to give her to my friend who has her as a dreamie, but if my friend doesn't want/need her anymore, I can give her to you for free. xD

The thing about her not being my favorite is she's never asked to move out before, which is saying something because she's been in my town for a while. It's always O'Hare or Tangy and they're my top dreamies. ; A;

As much as I love Diana, if you feel rather bored of a villager although you love them, you should let them go! I learnt this mutliple times, especially the hard time choosing whether to let go of Zucker for Beau or not! Had the exact same dilemma as you! got rather bored of Zucker, so decided it was time for him to move on even though he is so amazingly cute, I started yearning for Beau! good luck deciding! <3

Diana is insanely popular, just sell her to the highest bidder and make room for Willow. Like you said, Willow is hard to find, and I've had Diana in my starter town 4 times out of 5.

If you're really not happy with Diana, then I don't think you should have to keep her.
I'm not a fan of Willow myself, but if you want her to come to your town, then go for it. Finding the right villagers take time. It took me a while to find both Pinky and Filbert.

I don't know how hard it is to find Willow in particular; just because I don't care for her. Oops.

I think if you're to the point where you don't talk to Diana much, then you've kinda already made your decision.

If you are careful with your TT-ing you can get her out, it's not THAT big of a deal, IMHO.

It is nice that she's perfectly aligned with her houses,…. but you can just plot reset Willow a lot. Maybe your experience will be different from mine, but it only took me a few days to find Willow (and for free…)

I personally think the sheep animation is really cute …. they are so fat and fluffy!! and I think Willow comes off as "nicer" than some other snooties. I knew I wanted a sheep and a snooty so Willow was the perfect choice for me. I have Mira and Flurry, too and I think they both look cute with Willow with their colors.

I'm in the same boat as you - I have Diana, she's sweet and all and I will miss her.. but she's just not a dreamie. She will definitely leave at some point, and I'd love to have Willow or Annalise take her place

SHE IS. SHE IS THE CUTEST SNOOTY. When I was looking up snooty villagers she was the only I really wanted from the get-go. Initially I didn't even like Diana until she moved in and hung with me a little bit, then I grew to like her. But Willow is just the #1 snooty/sheep for me. <3

Yeah, she is. I honestly didn't get the hype for her until she moved in my previous town. She's moved in from campsite both times.

Haha, that's fine. People have been giving good points--if I'm not too happy about her maybe it's really time to let go.

Ooh, and I know the pain of looking for Filbert. I did get lucky this time around though. I had a Filbert reserved and the person accidentally voided him just when I had opened a spot in my town and had wi-fi'd with someone with a voided villager (because I was confident I was getting him so I didn't care). I was gonna post an LF thread on reddit then I saw someone was giving away Filbert for free, and the thread was only an hour old with no takers. ; w;

Prior to that it took me weeks of posting LF> Filbert to actually get someone to reserve him for me. ; A;

Willow was always the hardest villager for me to find, particularly since most of my villagers I got from friends or the campsite or random move in. In my old town it took me a long while and a bit of luck to find someone giving her away.

I suppose by the time Diana decides to move, I'll have built enough PWPs that Willow can't move anywhere else but Diana's old spot. xD I've decided to just TT day by day to be extra careful. It might take a while, but at least I'd have time to find Willow? xDD

Diana was a dreamie, but Willow is an even bigger one. Plus, I didn't expect to get tired of her so soon. ; w; And I seem to have a lot of Willow rivals here. xD She is so hard to find, omg. Good luck to all of us!

I actually have Diana right now, but I didn't like her until I saw her in someone else's village. Go visit someone who has Willow and see if you really like her better than Diana, then make your choice c:

Naw, I've had Willow before in my old town, so I know what it's like to have her, so yes, I'm sure I like Willow better than Diana. I think the most I like about Diana is that she is white and pink and her furniture is pretty great. xD

She may not be as difficult to find as you think - someone was giving her away on Reddit yesterday and nobody responded but of course there's luck involved and you have to be at the right place at the right time good luck! X

[sub]OMG! I had the EXACT same problem as you! I moved Diana in from the camp too, and she plopped her house aligned with Marshal's <3 I was getting sick of her too, so I let her move out.. best decision EVER. Anyways, I'd let her go and let the villager you really want move in. [/sub]
