Should I keep clothes I don't like after passing Gracie's four fashion checks?

I've been collecting clothes I don't really care about specifically for Gracie's fashion checks.

If I've already passed the four fashion checks and gotten the T&T Emporium, can I sell the clothes?

Or is there something I might need them for in the future?

Once you have the emporium, there's no use for the clothes you don't want You can just sell them. However, if you want to fill out your catalog, you should buy everything you don't have, even if you just plan on selling it afterwords.

Sell it, sell it! Coming from someone with major hoarding issues, I highly suggest you get rid of anything you won't ever wear. My #1 hoarding habit is to keep stuff I think I MIGHT use but never use. And the majority of these items are clothing pieces. For the sake of your closet, please toss it. D:

Yep. Here's my progress, playing since Christmas. No time-travelling or anything, although I got the fortune cookie items off someone: http://1drv.ms/1SOIpYR.

Did it in Wild World for a bit but only got the catalogue to 70-80% or so, I think. :/ I don't have a spreadsheet for that and with no search option, it's a pain.

Not really, there is a badge for filling up 20%, 50% and 80% of your catalog and people want to fill up their catalog for that. It's also nice that whenever you're looking for an item, you can just order it from your catalog.

I sold my clothes. I only wear about 2-3 pairs of clothes. Once in a while, I'll go through my catalog and pick out outfits I want to wear. Like, it's winter right now, so I'll chose some winter clothes. Then I'll go back to my yellow polka-dot dress. I, personally, don't think there is a need for them once you pass her fashion checks.

I don't recommend keeping stuff you don't need in the game, it's easy to fill up the cabinet space and then you won't have anywhere to put the stuff you actually want, and you'll probably start laying it down outside, which I don't recommend, villagers consider this to be trash. Sell anything you don't absolutely need

I wouldn't keep the ugly clothes. I don't have room in my locker for anything I won't use.

Yes you can sell the clothes; or, give them away or sell them here if you'd like and keep the ones you want :3
