I want YOUR opinions :P
I like Chief but I want to try get Marshal or Lolly >_<

I'm doing the new character trick and just got him in one shot lol.
Should I keep him or no?

If you like him a lot, then sure, but if you don?t like him that much then I would say no, who knows you might get Lolly or Marshal on the next try :p

Yeah xD I really like him then I'm worried that them two might pop up in my next try if I go again.

If you have the time today, I'd say keep resetting for the villagers you REALLY want.
But Cheif is pretty cool. Worth keeping

If you are interested in trading him away, it is possible for a villager of another town to convince him to move their from your campsite. It is a lot more difficult, though! I heard it takes an average of 80 conversations for a foreigner to convince a camper to move. Of course I have no legitimate data to back this up.

There is no doubt, however, people would be interested in at least attempting to scoop him up.

And what is this "new character trick" I keep hearing about? >_<

Basically when you're on a new day, don't go on any existing characters you have. Make a new character and go through all the boring stuff with Rover.
When you arrive in your town, go to your campsite (if you're doing this for campers) and see if there's a camper.
If not, turn off the game without saving and make another new character, repeating the process.

If there is a camper, see if it's the one you want. If not, reset and repeat.
If there is the villager you want, build your house in a spot and then save.

Delete the character and go on w/e character you use and convince them to move into your town.

I would let people try get him to move into their town but I don't like waiting tbh.
(Impatient when it's night xD)

I think I'll try reset again. Thanks for your opinions :3

*crosses fingers for dreamies*

EDIT : forget i said anything you said "THEN you build your house" when it's the right villager.
so you got one at the first try. And you can do that with 9 villagers? doesn't have to be 8 or less?

here's a question about the new villager trick though, can a newly created villager without even a tent see the villager in the camping site? i think i remember trying and getting an empty tent or something. or maybe i just dreamt it? Man if you have to go through registering with isabelle finding a place to build your house etc each time man that must be a pain !! lol

Just click the red link in my signature, short answer yes, newly created characters can see campers before talking with Isabelle.

Yes, you can see the campers before you even do the registration :) So you don't have to keep making a house then seeing the people.

If you can find someone who really wants him and will pay lots- take him because then you will have the money to buy your dreamies!

True true. I actually rarely see people wanting Chief though @_@ I see more of either Wolfgang or Fang. (for the wolf species)

I am on the fence about Chief. I didn't like him at first, but he's grown on me. I like how he hangs is mouth open and leaves it there after he says something (that he thinks) is funny. ;)

A recent poll of over 100 users showed him to be fairly average in popularity as far as the wolves are concerned: click.

If you like Chief then you should go ahead and keep him. :)
