Should i get into danganrompa

Love these games! I say YES if you would like a weird, sometimes serious, sometimes silly, visual novel style story with quirky characters. And if you aren't offended at scenes of (sometimes comically) over the top violence and mature language. The games have a M rating for a reason. If interested, I'd play the main games in order since they reference each other (UDG and SC are optional) and consider watching the 3 anime after playing 2. If you're interested in Danganronpa, I would also recommend The Hundred Line which is similar in some ways. Or Master Detective Archives Rain Code if you prefer more of a murder mystery story.

Gotcha but another question: if I where to watch playthroughs and watch the animated adaptions would it still make me a fan? I'm just curious and i guess this goes for final fantasy coz I've only s seen advent children

You mean for Danganronpa? I've only watched playthroughs of it (originally through Lucahjin, then the Game Grumps but haven't finished their V3 videos) but personally I still think that makes you a fan! A lot of fans of different video game series nowadays get into them through watching playthroughs or even non-game mediums.

I'd consider myself a fan as well. I love character based stories, and I enjoyed the mysteries as well. I even went to a Danganronpa pop-up cafe here in Tokyo a few years ago!

But I recommend not searching for anything related to the series and being very careful with recommended videos online in order to not get spoiled...
