ANKHA. not only is she the og, she's got a gorgeous house and design and snooty personalities are amazing (plus you have a lot of smugs)

Ankha all the way. Recently I came over to visit her and after our chat she decided it’s time to go sit on her golden toilet while reading a book. That’s when she won over my heart.

I also support Ankha over Raymond. As someone else who builds my resident Animal Crossing towns around themes, I'm pretty firm on sticking to the themes I set up.

If you really want Raymond, I'd suggest putting him on the back burner for now and wait and see if maybe you get tired of one of your current Smugs in the future and then replace one of them with him. Might very well sound impossible or unlikely now, but I've tired of certain dream villagers and switched up residents in the past. The time spent waiting might also reveal how much of the desire is linked to his popularity.
