Should I get a Fountain?

I was wondering if i should get a fountain.. I didn't get a bridge yet, but i have enough money to buy both.. Yeah (700k)... So i just wanted your opinion on what i should do.. Because i know you can get a gold/silver axe from serena, but i hear that you ahve to be super lucky to get it..

You should get it so people will think you are rich, but the chances of getting the gold or siver axe are rare.

you need 700k? I have been told that it was 500k total to get a fountain.
