should I do an Italian/Japanese fusion style town?

my town name is Japanese but i don't wanna strictly do Japanese, yk?

clothing isn't a concern as i could wear a Custom design, Chiton, Toga, Kimono, etc, but it's the furniture outside I need help w.

Any ideas?

I'm definitely not just doing Japanese. It's currently snowing on my island. What I say is, your island doesn't have to have a specific theme. I say go for whatever it is your heart desires. Go ahead and make it Italian/Japanese! No one's gonna laugh at you. No one's gonna judge you. Just do it!

i think this could be awesome! definitely go for it. could see this working as either a blended island map where you do both themes throughout and as a split map - half the residents in a japanese style of town and the other in the italian, with maybe RS in the center as a joined community space? this would enable you to play with different terraforming styles unique to the japanese and italian landscapes, too!

for italian inspo, you would do a lot of plaza, vineyards or gardens in valleys, beachfront living, lots of fruit and food vendor stalls and set-ups, etc.

In the Italian areas of your island you could have blue and white flowers

hmm if you want two distinct areas for Japanese and Italian, maybe separate them with a river?

If you get a pagoda and a leaning tower of Pisa from Gulliver you could put them outside your airport like pillars, or indicating which side is Italian and which is Japanese.

That would be a nice idea, you can have two sides of Italian and Japanese in your town if you plan to have it.
