Should I connect my guest account to the Nintendo Network?

So I have a guest account set up on my Wii U for guests and have been debating whether I should connect it to Miiverse/Nintendo Network. I have it mainly for when I eventually do YouTube content on my Wii U and I would use it to record game footage without getting distracted by my friends list and other online features? Thoughts?

Yes, if you would like to use Miiverse. There's nothing wrong with that. I've done the same on MK8
