Should I buy Persona Q Shadow of the Labyrinth?

Have you played the other Persona games? If yes, I don't see why not. I haven't really played much of it (I finished the first labyrinth and got distracted from the game), but it's a lot of fun. I feel like someone who's not acquainted with the series already might not enjoy it as much, though, since the characters are already established.

Even still, if you think you might like it, go for it!

I've played a bit of 3, but not much and REALLY enjoyed it.

It's a fun game, it gets pretty challenging too. :3 It's the first game I played out of the series due to lack of playstation, yet I was familiar with the characters from seeing the p3 movie & p4 anime series. I really liked the art in it. If you enjoyed persona 3 you'd probably enjoy PQ as well, also if you get a hard copy you'll get some neat tarot cards. :o

Yes, I believe you should.
I was on the fence for buying it as well, but now I've played 40+ hours and I'm still on my first file!

And btw, if you don't know the story behind P4, there's always the anime.

You should! It's a very great game and it's full of challenges. You kinda need to know the gist of 3 and 4 to really enjoy it tho

I say you should invest in getting it. It's pretty fun though it is as well has it's challenging points.
But it's very well done, a good funny an interesting story-line. But it is good to have a little knowledge
of both games before going in, though they do tell you briefly about what each side does and what they do.
Plus, if you love puzzles. Then it's the game for you.

the anime is decent actually. there are times when the characters would really portray what the player of the game would do (Lol Kanji's shadow scene). It was well written but as what happens to most anime based on games, it's somewhat lacking.
