This is probably in the wrong forum, if it is someone please report so it can get moved, thankyou! :lemon:

Since collecting amiibo cards only starting this december, i've wondered if I should get HHD since I would have more use for my amiibo. I've heard good things but i'm fairly certain I would be paying 60 bucks just for a spoof of new leaf. I saw the, lets say "market place" in a vid today and I'm instantly in love with the design, but I'm just not sure if I should spend that much money if Im going to get bored of a new leaf spoof. I myself love interior designing and am very good at it, so what do you guys think? let me know about the gameplay, your fav parts, and your experience with HHD overall. I just don't want to make a mistake on this considering its not inc in the XMAS eb games sale, so I cant refund it in january if I don't like it...

i really enjoy happy home! the interferce is similar to acnl, but it's also completely different since the only thing they carried over to acnl was system to move furniture. im not that good at interior design, but i still think its fun!

If you're a creative sort and love designing your house in Animal Crossing, then it's probably worth buying. It's fun designing villagers houses, but my favorite part was designing the shops for Main Street.

you can design the shops too? :o
hehe, I often spend hours designing one room in my house... perhaps I should get it, but I still wanna hear ppl's opinions just to be sure :p

You should definitely get it! It's so much fun c: I play ACNL more often after buying HHD but that's only because I have people to play with so it really just depends on if you like designing & think you'd rather design more for other people than yourself!

i got bored after a few hours but you seem like the type of person to enjoy it, i would watch more videos of HHD if you haven't to make your decision. no1 likes wasting money

I bought it on release (shouldn't do that again...) and it was a major disappointment for me. I rarely play it (can't remember the last time I did...) and was never truly hooked on it. I guess it's appealing to some, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Honestly, i finished the game in one day, and it's now hidden somewhere in my room. I'd prefer buying 2 copies of acnl instead of that, so you could have 2 towns!

Wait did you say 60 bucks?! I got it for 20 when it released, xD

Yeah, its insane! games in Australia cost double+ because of gst and conversion rates, and they said gst would only be for 4yrs, 10yrs later....

Wow, that's insane. I was about to suggest yes because it's on Amazon for $14. I'd say it's a nice game but not worth $60

I have to agree with those who were disappointed because I got bored really quick. I'm actually going to take mine back to GameStop because I'd rather have a 2nd copy of ACNL. But if you like interior design, maybe this game will hold your interest.

You have to really like interior design or definitely dont get it since that is what the game is all about!!

I really like the game personally. But I cant play it for hours. i design two houses a day sort of thing and I enjoy it.:)

For me, it was fun for a day or two but I never play it anymore. I just don't like how there's not really a connection between the villagers and my character.

I didn't think I'd get too much enjoyment out of it (even though I like customizing my home in NL), but I wanted an amiibo reader, and Gamestop was selling it with HHD as a bundle, so I figured "why not?" (since the reader itself is like $20 US)

And, I must say, I'm pretty hooked! Started playing it a few nights ago....I end up killing so much time that should be spent sleeping! :p

It'll probably get old eventually, but as "cutesy" as NL can be, I find HHD to be even-moreso at times. I liked how I could scan a villager card, and decorate the character of my choice's room! Now, if only I could save and transfer that data to NL...

It's a really fun game, I wish I got it as a digital copy not physical...

I liked the game when I bought and I was hooked for a week. Then I got a little bit tired of it and then the Welcome Amiibo update came out and I completely gave up on it to play ACNL. My advice to you is to get it for a cheap price so you won't regret it. If you spend a lot of money on it, you will be disappointed. But for a good deal, it's a good game to have on the side, especially if you like designing things. I don't regret buying it because I got it on sale ^_^

But with the digital, you don't get a free amiibo card :( That's why I sprung for physical
