I'm sitting on the fence. I can't choose. If I buy another copy of AC:NL, I'm scared it MIGHT get tedious due to the two copies I have.
If I don't, I'd probably get Phoenix Wright: DD or Fire Emblem : Awakening.
But which of the two do I pick?
And if you do choose to tell me to buy a second copy, please state your reason.

I've also been toying with the idea of a second copy, but I always just toss that idea aside when I remember how much **** I'd have to do all over again. It's just not worth it in my eyes--I'd feel like one town would become less loved than the other & playing in general would feel like a chore. I mean, if you're a really patient person who is prepared to make their town perfect with their dream villagers perfectly placed (assuming that's what you would want to do--that applies to me, as well), pay off everything all over again, get PWPs unlocked all over again, then go ahead.

Well, I personally think that two copies is taking a bit too far...
It comes with so many obligations and chores that it might take the fun and relaxation away from the game.
But that's just my opinion.
In your shoes I'd get something else that I don't already have. :)

Shirohibiki*cough* She has five copies. Her latest one is still being delivered.
Yeah, I guess so. You'll need to do the whole thing all ovrer again. And when you finish, it gets boring... again.
So I'm assuming you don't want me to buy another copy, what game between PWDD and FE:A should I pick?

Have you played previous Ace Attorney games? If not I would start from the beginning, meanwhile FE:A is still enjoyable even without having played the previous games as the stories aren't linked.

Buying a second copy is usually only worth getting if you know you really want it and are willing to take the risks of possibly getting bored of the game entirely due to splitting your attention or being pressured into playing to not lose villagers.

OMG same here. I'd like to get a second copy because there are just too many villagers I want to fit into one copy, but at the same time it would be tedious as hell....

I guess I'll suggest the same solition I came to myself: wait for when I'll have more time to play it (aka, summer *u*).

In the meantime, if I had to choose between one of those two other titles, I'd go get that Ace Attorney game I also can't wait to play (though right now I'm busy with both the Phoenix wright & Professor Layton crossover and AC).

Five copies? I can hardly handle my two!

I have second copy and I love it. I can do things I wouldn't be able to do normally in my main town, like grow golden roses. But if I had to choose between a second copy and Ace Attorney, I'd chose Ace Attorney hands down. Dual Destinies is such a great game so I'd say go with that.

I personally really enjoy having two copies because i love my main town too much to delete it and look forward to eventually creating themed towns with the second. I also help my friends by holding villagers and sometimes reset the side copy to get villagers I need, which is convenient. If I used the second copy the same way I use the first I would definitely be overwhelmed, though. Really I'd weigh whatever it is you would do with the second copy against how much you'd enjoy playing those other games. Or you could play the other games and then trade them in for the second copy once you're done with them, if that's possible

I have three copies.

The first town is essentially done.

The second town needs more Public Works Projects.

The third town needs suggestions from villagers for Public Works Projects.

I thought about getting a fourth copy to try forum member Karen's suggestions on cycling. (She has a thread on it.) If I do get a fourth copy, that is what it would be used for. I would not get one to develop a fourth town.

The points, from forum members, are excellent. "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" involves a lot of time. And one who has more than one copy of the game has to decide when he has had enough.

Up to you really, but I personally don't know if you should.
Positive view; You'll get to cycle. Get more things done. Do things you can't do on your main town. Start a second town with new dreamies/different theme. Time travel without a breeze. :~)
Negative view; Can get quite tedious.

So I have two views on it. :~)

*coughs*

I actually bought a 2DS and 2nd copy of AC today.

I'll inform you in two weeks how I feel x]

I just want more little adorable pixel babies x3 I love animals.
