Hello everyone, I have had acnl for about 3 years now and I've been considering whether or not I should get a second copy so that I can have one that serves as a giveaway and storage town, the other being my town person town that I can make to my liking with the help of my second copy. I have 2 devices that I can use to communicate with them. Would it be worth it? It is very affordable for me, especially since it has gone down massively in price where I am. My second question is should I get a physical or digital copy? My current copy is a physical one so I'm not sure if I need another physical copy.
I think a second town is actually very useful! A lot of people on here use it with amiibo cards to help people adopt villagers, or to store items, and it actually really comes in handy. I just ordered a second copy because I want to decorate it and have a new town design without using my first one, but I think there?s a lot of positives to buying a second town.
I?m not sure about buying a physical or digital copy, though. I bought a second physical one. A good person to ask on here might be Yuki (RedTropicalPeachyFish) as she has like five towns that she uses to sell things to people! She runs a shop on here
Well I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't get one, especially since it would be affordable for you. Having one copy does have its limitations, so I think having more than one would be super convenient.
I actually just got my second copy on Saturday, so I'm definitely a bit biased towards yes. The only reason why I hesitated on getting a 2nd copy was b/c of how soon NH would be coming out but I went in to get a new charger, and I saw NL. It was the last one there and I decided to just get it...or my friend decided to just get it for me. The reason why I went back to get it was b/c I knew that I really wanted it, so if you know that you do really want the second copy, I would say to just get it.
Even though I bought a physical copy, the main reason that I hear for getting a digital one is that you don't have to waste any time switching catridges when you were playing a different game beforehand. I can't think of any other reason besides that.
I have 4 cartridges. One is a completed town. One is a storage town. And the other two I am working on to be completed towns. Seriously I couldn't live without my storage town. But if you dont have multiple ds's it's not worth it.
I say yes just for the street pass badge lol, I have my boyfriend's 3ds on all the time with my second copy in it and my dad on as well we Street pass every day
