Should I build the Reset Center?

I've been conflicted about this for a while, and the sole reason that has kept me from building it is that you can't get rid of it, but I've been thinking about it again and I wanted some opinions.

I've only ever reset four or five times, I think, and twice out of those were not ones I did T_T like accidentally pushing the card out of the cartridge (has anyone ever done that or am I just an idiot? lol) or forgetting to save because I fell asleep and the battery died. So I'm not worried about getting yelled at for resetting, but I'm still not sure...

Any thoughts? ;^;

Well, it definitely isn't a necessity. However, if you want to have every single feature in your town it would be cool to just have it because sometimes you'll find it open and be ale to go inside. I would put it somewhere out of the way though since it isn't the prettiest thing.

I seen some very nice dream towns that used the reset center in the middle of their pathways. It looks like a manhole cover.
A lot put it in a corner of their town out of the way.

I have mine near the ramp in my main town. It's easy to see when Reset is opened. The flowers hide it.
Another one I placed behind a villagers house and you can't see it with flowers around it.
I wanted it so I could visit reset center.

In my first town, I put the reset center near the flower clock with benches and thought the area could use a manhole cover as added decoration. I still think it's a waste of pwp space (more so that you can't demolish it) so I might not build it in my second town. The important part is the Resetti's picture, but still, there are other ways to get it. Also, I don't want to go through his blabbering, even the shortest of dialogue, whenever I couldn't save my game xD

And you're not alone; I've accidentally ejected my cartridge. ESPECIALLY on the N3DS because of where the slot is and that's a natural resting place for my fingers on the bottom of the system. So annoying, lol.

I've never been down there!! I never built it in my other towns so I think I'm going to put it in my 1-year challenge town since I'm not meant to be resetting at all on that

Yeah, on one hand the thought of never having visited the Reset center is exciting but I feel like I might regret building it...

Oh no, sorry, I didn't make that clear XD You can only get the picture from him once you build the center and visit him a number of times. What I mean by 'other ways' is that, I can still get it from another town or probably, here if someone sells them.

I didn't want to build it at first because in AC:WW Resetti would harass you for ages and had that horrible music, I was afraid of hearing that sound again.

But it's neat that you can sometimes go down there.

I'm a bit conflicted about it as well tbh. But I think I will build it bc otherwise it would be the only thing my town doesn't have. I built it in my first town ages ago but I haven't in this one yet because whenever I did reset before I always forgot about Resetti and got a jump scare. Sigh.

I started with New Leaf, but I've heard really...interesting...stories about Resetti so yeah, that must've been tough for so many people. ^^

I've actually never had anyone over to my town via online, and I'll admit, I'm still kinda cynical from hearing all the scary stories of how people get scammed or hybrids stolen..some people are just -__-;; but I know the majority of people aren't like that and you just made me glad I joined

I was the same way being conflicted about building it. I decided to build the reset center recently because I have this awkward tiny space between the fence by the railroad and the beginning of my river, where nothing else can go, so I decided to build it there. So there is little to no chance that it will be in the way of me landscaping!

I've built it in all my towns, mainly cos when I visit, the dialog makes me laugh, you eventually get both brother's pictures & I like to use their loo.

Where to place it is another issue, and I have made mistakes - out of the way corner & I forget to check whether it is open (after 9pm, the day after a rainy/snowy day). I have used flowers, lilies are good, to hide it, one town I've used bamboo & flowers.
I've never incorporated it into a path, although I too have seen it used this way in dream towns. Works if it goes with the path colours/pattern, otherwise it sticks out, & its visible.

If you reset - I don't normally, so have not got much experience of Resetti's dialog - I think I have twice (running over hybrids) and it was very mild - you can say your battery died and he then he says virtually nothing. Whatever, it's not like he was in acww, where you had to type stuff back to him (exactly!)
No experience, but I've been told that the dialog is different if you reset with the Mayor as opposed to an alt - and he is harder on one more than the other (but I can't remember which way round!).

If you haven't had it before then yes! It's pretty tiny so you can stick it anywhere and it's fun to be able to visit it when it's opened, but like other's said it's kind of a waste if you don't really want it or are just going to hide it somewhere because it can't be demolished.

I build it the moment I was able to Immediately, without doubt and not giving a second thought either. And guess what? Never EVER regretted it, since I had so many funny moments down the hole with the two mole brothers.

So of course I say YES, go and build it!

Whenever I reset I always pick the 3rd option, which is " I don't remember " and he basically says he doesn't know anything about it and leaves promptly. I've never told him it was the first option (resetting) because he will probably talk at you for a while. The music in this game isn't as terrifying either

no. I despise resetti and I don't want visits from him I'm really glad, however that they gave you an option whether you want him or not.
