in tuesday mimi wears the purple high tops a lot and also the basketball shoes with different types of socks depending on outfits. he does not change outfits very much. baby wears rain boots (no socks) or nothing because baby is a baby
in glory mayor danny loooves fashion and changing her outfit so she gets new shoes all the time. right now she is wearing the hiking boots but before that she was wearing the white leather shoes and before that polka dot rain boots. poppy is a gardener so she wears the hero's boots if she is not going. barefoot
I've always worn socks & shoes in acnl. I just do. I don't change them very often tho.
When you dive, the socks (& other clothes just disappear) but you are left with your hat & shoes (+ the wet suit). Which is odd, particularly f you are wearing a hat with a feather (cavalier hat?).
I used to take the shoes off when I dive - but stopped when I lost a pair of hero boots (from the fortune cookies) on a diving tour.
Stupid me decided to put them on the ground on the plaza (where Tortimer/Loid stand) and the tour finished before I could pick them up - gone for ever. Only make that mistake once!
Yes, both! And sometimes stockings, which is what my mayor has been wearing lately because it goes with her gothic lolita look. I love to mix and match with them. Outfits don't feel complete otherwise imo, so I'll put socks on underneath boots as well. I also take them off before diving just because it feels wrong to not do so.
My mayor is mostly in Orange Sandals. The only time you’ll ever see the mayor in different footwear is perhaps never. I do change outfits in the fall.
Also, I can’t be the only one who removes all footwear in the Winter. I’m sure someone crazy or never wears shoes and socks would probably do such thing.
I have everything I need from Kicks, so I don't go in anymore. Once in a while, I do pop in, just to say hello, since I feel bad, but I never buy.
I usually wear shoes, unless I'm going diving - then I place them at the top of my ramp. Whether I wear socks or not depends on which shoes I have on and the time of year. I'm more likely to wear socks/tights in the fall or winter, although I keep some ankle socks around, just in case.

Every now and then, I get the itch to change up my look so I'll go and see what Kicks has. But since I also don't really go in anymore, I always try to buy something when I do, since I feel bad. I've seen Kicks in the cafe so I try to at least give him enough for a couple cups of coffee!
I always wear socks and shoes since it'd feel odd to wear shoes without socks (except for sandals or some other shoes that don't need socks). Since it's summer I could as well go barefoot though.
Even though I don't go there as often as the other shops, I do visit Kicks and sometimes buy things if there's something I need or something I don't have yet.
I'm kind of a hoarder/collector in ACNL. I don't have kicks opened in my new town yet, but when it does I'll be buying everything at least once to try to finish the catalogue.
