I'm gonna end up picking up one or two total. Not sure, seeing as the closest Gamestop is at the mall. But the unanswered question is: do we need all three for the event?

You just need to transfer one of the three for the event;

Raikou, Entei, Suicune Unlock - Zoroark
When you transfer Raikou, Entei or Suicune from your games... etc
