Yeah the Lazy villagers really took a turn for the worst in NH. I miss when they were basically just the male counterpart to Normals and were more 'relaxed' and 'laid back' than the 'absolutely disgusting slobs' they are now.
Lazy villagers always have been weird since the beginning, they even mentioned a stomach clock when I played WW and NL. But thats just creepy in my opinion.
Hornsby told me he ATE a chunk of my letter and that it tasted good. He then changes the subject and asked me about opinions. I love Hornsby and he is so wholesome, but I have about 20 pictures of him saying something concerning to me. He could use a bit of therapy...
the lazies are definitely.. interesting to say the least! I think the way their personality was done this game have been very hit or miss with people since I’ve seen many people who adore the lazies and many people who do not.. personally if there weren’t so many cute ones I would not mind leaving one off my island whatsoever lol
Have y'all gotten the slightly weird interaction between a lazy and a snooty where the lazy talks about liking their smell and then makes the snooty sniff them only to make them grossed out xD and the lazy is like "I just wanted to be sniffed."
I have three lazies atm (Punchy, Beau and Sherb) ,and their weird obsessions with bugs and snacking is getting a bit much tbh. I guess having three of them also means that their dialogue is often identical, especially when I'm giving them all their daily gifts. I'm considering booting one of them but I don't know who! I adore them all!
I got the exact same letter from Ozzie. All he ever talks about is food, how he spills food all over himself and how he likes to talk to his bugs...

I don't understand why lazies are obsessed with bugs? It would make sense if say an anteater was but for all lazies to be obsessed with them is just weird... dont remember this being the case in NL
Have you seen what Hopkins has wrote to me?
if I remember correctly it was something like
" did you know books are a bunch of letters and there are only, wait lemme count, 104 letters in a book?"
"how do they make the books so big? - Hopkins"
I have both Sherb and Beau, and the amount of dialogue I get daily about snacking, napping, going hard and yelling "saltlick" or "bawww" is a little too much sometimes. They are adorable though, and I will definitely never let them go
