Buying Sherb (advice needed!)

Looking for Sherb, the new Goat Villager!
Can offer IGB!

I currently have 10 villagers but I’m trying to get rid of two

Does anyone know what would happen if I ask Sherb to move into my island?
Is it the same deal as an amiibo? Or do I have to have an opening for him?​

you have to have an open plot for another villager to move in! hope this helps!
